Visiting Simulation Room in Research Program

The students in Mr. Nagatomo’s research class visited the simulation room at Ehime Prefectural Central Hospital on Monday. They are doing research under the theme “Look at social issues from the perspective of perinatal care”, and learning from the perinatal point of view about what a society should be like so that babies grow healthily without problems. The students learn not only in classrooms but in medical institutions like universities or hospitals to experience the latest medical technology. There is no doubt that each and every one of their experiences will lead to a great success in their research.

On Thursday, June 14th, our 1st-year students visited six international companies in Ehime as their field work. The students learned what it is like to work in foreign countries with local people there. All their stories were very interesting and informative! We greatly thank all the companies for their cooperation.

Explanatory meeting for Field Work

On June 8th, we had an explanatory meeting for the participants of the Overseas Field Work in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Australia of this year, all of which are scheduled to be carried out in the summer vacation. The students who participated in the field work last year explained as advisers what would be good to take, what kinds of clothes would be suitable, where to visit, and some important points to be kept in mind. Their advice based on their actual experiences seemed very helpful for the new participants!
